See Something, Say Something

“See Something, Say Something” is a national safety campaign originally created by Homeland Security but we have also incorporated portions of the Sandy Hook Promise in our program. Our program incorporates the use of a link to an anonymous reporting system that children, teachers, parents or staff can use. Students can report serious information or situations immediately and anonymously.

A variety of issues can be reported, such as but not limited to Acts of violence with or without weapons, verbal or physical abuse, assault or harassment, sexual abuse, assault or harassment, threats seen on social media, Bullying, fighting, harassment or intimidating behaviors.

This safety initiative allows students to develop a sense of responsibility toward their peers and their school community. This means actively looking out for each other and reporting any suspicious activity they observe.
